What products do you use?

Do you have Wifi?

Yes, we are pleased to offer WIFI for you to enjoy during your visit. Please ask a member of our Guest Services team for further details.

I have shellac on my nails. Will you remove it?

Because our treatment protocols do not allow time for shellac removal, we request that you remove your shellac prior to your spa visit. Thank you in advance!

I’m pregnant. What services can I have?

We are pleased to offer pregnancy massage throughout the duration of your pregnancy. In addition you can safely enjoy all of our esthetic services, with the exception of body wraps.

How do you sanitize your tools?

We use PREempt CS20, a sterilant and high-level disinfectant, to sanitize tools used in all esthetic services. You can learn more about the process here.

We use Accel INTERVention to clean and disinfect all surfaces, sinks and tubs in the spa. You can learn more about that here.

Where can I park?

Parking at Riverside Spa is both abundant and complimentary. You can park in the lot directly in front of the main entrance of the Riverside Recreational Complex. Additional parking is available to the west, between Riverside Tower 2 and Edworthy Park. This overflow lot is fenced and clearly marked with “Riverside Recreational Complex Patrons Only.” Please do not park in the visitor lots belonging to the Riverside Towers.

What amenities do you have?

When planning your spa day be sure to allow additional time to enjoy our eucalyptus steam room, swiss showers, facial care tester bar and relaxation lounge, which features a fireplace, ample seating and complimentary lemonade, herbal tea and cookies. Upon check-in you will receive a locker, robe and spa sandals. Change rooms offer bath towels, shower supplies and hair care product for your use.

Can I pay a facility fee to only use the steam room?

No, it’s not possible to pay a facility fee to use our steam room. All spa amenities are reserved for the use of those who have booked services with us, primarily to preserve the ambiance of our spa environment.

What should I bring with me?

Our change rooms, lockers and facial product tester bar are primed to provide you with just about everything you might need. We do not offer makeup, so please feel free to bring yours along. Same goes for anything else that you might be particularly partial to.

How early should I arrive at the spa?

To ensure a comfortable check-in, please arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to your first appointment. Please keep in mind that showing up late for an appointment will affect the length and nature of your service.

Can I bring food and wine?

We are pleased to offer lunch for those enjoying our full day spa packages. We can also arrange catering for small group bookings. Please do not bring food with you. That said, you are more than welcome to bring along a bottle of wine. All guests partaking are limited to one glass per visit.

Are your massage therapists registered?

Yes, all of our massage services are performed by Registered Massage Therapists.

Do you direct bill?

No, we do not direct bill. Insurance receipts will be provided to you upon request.

Why don’t you book online?

We don’t allow online booking because we believe your time with us begins the moment you pick up the phone to book your service. In order to provide you with the best experience possible, we must speak with you. We want to know your preferences about a number of things you might not be aware of. Please allow us to take care of you every step of the way. It’s what we do best.

What is your cancellation policy?

Spa packages are subject to a 48 hour cancellation policy. All other appointments are subject to a 24 hour cancellation policy. Changes to your appointment(s), or cancellations made within these time periods are subject to a $25 per service fee. Should you fail to show up for your scheduled appointment, or cancel with less than one hour of notice, the full cost of your appointment(s) will be charged.

What does the ‘Best Before’ date on my gift certificate mean?

The “Best Before” date on your Riverside Spa gift certificate functions as a price guarantee. If you book the service(s) noted on your gift certificate prior to the “best before” date, we guarantee that your gift certificate will cover the entire cost of the noted service(s). If you are unable to use your gift certificate before its “best before” date, there’s no need to worry; the monetary value of your gift certificate will not expire and can be applied to services and/or product of your choice.

Should I tip my service technician?

While certainly not mandatory, gratuities are greatly appreciated by our staff. If you’re feeling the love, leaving a gratuity is a great way to show it.
