Riverside Spa is committed to providing safe web sites for visitors of all ages and has implemented this Privacy Policy to demonstrate our firm commitment to your privacy. COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

Personal Information is information about you that identifies you as an individual. For our purposes (i.e. delivery of spa services, in-store and online sales of products/gift certificates, shipping requests, etc.) we collect the following forms of personal information:

  • Names
  • Addresses
  • Email addresses
  • Phone numbers
  • Credit Card information
  • Health history (when applicable)

We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us through online shopping cart checkout forms, over the telephone when securing future appointments, during on-site contact tracing efforts related to global pandemics, when gift certificates are purchased and/or shipped to yourself or others (both online and in-store), on guest health forms, on guest feedback forms, when participating in contests and the like.

In all cases, information collected is used only for its intended purposes. We do not share collected information with outside parties except when the intended purpose requires us to do so. (For example, when shipping gift certificates/boxes to recipients via courier or Canada Post.)

You can sign up for our email list if you would like to receive notification of seasonal promotions and product offerings. At any time, you may revoke your permission for us to use your email address when sharing promotional materials. Please do so via email.

We may also ask you to provide additional information, such as your e-mail address or telephone number, if you want to obtain additional services, information or to resolve complaints or concerns.

Riverside Spa uses reasonable efforts to maintain our Guests' information in a secure environment. Access to personal information collected and stored by us is available upon request. Steps will be taken to verify your identity prior to granting access. Additionally, if you have submitted personal information and want to change it or opt-out, you can do so. DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION

Riverside Spa will not disclose personal information that you provide on its Sites to any third parties except:

i) in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy, or ii) to comply with legal requirements such as a law, regulation, warrant, subpoena or court order, and/or iii) if you are reporting an adverse event/side effect, in which case Riverside Spa may be required to disclose such information to bodies such as, but not limited to, provincial or federal regulatory authorities.

PROTECTION OF CHILDREN

Riverside Spa considers the protection of children's overall health and wellbeing to be of the utmost importance. As such, we are committed to protecting the privacy of the children who visit our facility as Guests. When booking appointments for children under the age of 12, a parent or legal guardian must be involved in providing required personal information. This also applies to health forms completed on-site. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian when receiving spa services.

Riverside Spa applies security safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, such as retaining information in secure facilities and making personal information accessible only to authorized employees on a need-to-know basis.

If we alter our Privacy Policy, any changes will be posted on this page of our Site so that you are always informed of the information we collect about you, how we use it and the circumstances under which we may disclose it.
